As the Vice President of ACHSIA, Tracy supports the President and Executive Director in overseeing operations and strategic direction. As the VP Tracy will often step in to lead initiatives and ensure ACHSI's goals align with its mission, vision, and values.
Ms. Cormier recently retired from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) as the Assistant Director for Cyber and Operational Technology (COT), where she managed cutting-edge information technology programs and initiatives critical to HSI’s law enforcement mission. At the time of her retirement, she held the distinction of being the highest-ranking female within HSI. In her role as Assistant Director, Ms. Cormier oversaw a combined workforce of more than 500 employees and managed an annual budget of nearly $240 million. Her leadership extended to the Cyber Crimes Center, which utilized advanced technical expertise to investigate trans-border internet-related crimes, and the HSI Innovation Lab, the agency’s hub for developing advanced analytics, innovative tools, and enhanced business processes.
Previously, Ms. Cormier served as the Assistant Director for Mission Support, where she managed HSI’s budget exceeding $2.1 billion. Her career also included numerous high-profile field and headquarters roles. As the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of HSI St. Paul, she had operational oversight of nine offices across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Prior to that, she served as the Deputy Special Agent in Charge (DSAC) for HSI’s District of Columbia office. At HSI Headquarters, she held key leadership roles, including Chief of Staff for International Affairs, Chief of Staff for INTERPOL Washington, and Acting Deputy Assistant Director of Domestic Operations, where she supervised the daily operations of 26 SAC offices nationwide.
Ms. Cormier began her federal law enforcement career in 1995 as a Customs Inspector with the U.S. Customs Service in Los Angeles, California. In 2000, she transitioned to the role of Special Agent, conducting narcotics smuggling and complex financial investigations. In 2007, she entered the management ranks, leading teams investigating human smuggling and human trafficking, and later overseeing public safety and financial programs as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in Los Angeles.
Beyond her career in law enforcement, Ms. Cormier serves as the Vice President of Lab Rescue, where she plays a vital role in rescuing, training, providing health care, and rehoming over 1,000 Labrador retrievers annually.
